I am the lead videographer/editor and owner of Weddings With Motion. I aim to create an environment where couples feel comfortable expressing their vision for their wedding day. This connection not only enhances the planning process but also contributes to the creation of their film. I love bonding with my couples and ensuring that the flow of their wedding day goes smoothly. Editing plays a crucial role in telling a story. We pay close attention to every detail, choosing the best moments and arranging them thoughtfully. This process creates a cinematic film that connects with the couple and their loved ones. Every cut, transition and music choice is made to make the final video more emotional and authentic.

Q: Can we see a full ceremony video or speeches after they've been edited together?
A: Of course! Once we start chatting, I will happily email you over any samples to see in full.

Q: Will I receive ALL of my video footage  AKA 'Raw footage' from the entire day?
A: The first thing to know is that regardless of what package you choose, you will receive a fully-edited video which contains the highlights from your ENTIRE DAY. You can always request to receive ALL of your RAW FOOTAGE from the day for an additional small fee. Many couples choose to do this so that they can have BOTH a high quality video montage of their day along with the extra footage which contains many precious and spontaneous moments from family and friends. 

Q: Will my video capture all of the audio that is being spoken throughout the day?
A: Yes. For example, during your ceremony, we professionally mic up the groom to obtain clear and quality audio. We can also do this for ‘first looks’ or 'letter readings' to each other or ‘prayers’. All other audio will be captured regularly off our cameras throughout your day. We also like to tap into the DJ soundboard when possible for a direct feed of speeches and any reception moments. We speak with your DJ about this, nothing you have to worry about! 

Q: What happens if my wedding day and ceremony go longer than expected?
A: We are here for YOU. This is YOUR big day. We will make sure that we capture all of your special moments and events and that you are completely satisfied before we leave for the night.

Q: Can I meet with my videographer before the wedding day? Can I meet with them more than one time?
A: We always meet with our couples numerous times throughout the process - from the time you book your event up until the BIG DAY. We are not comfortable until YOU are comfortable. We meet our clients in person and/or via ZOOM to answer all of their questions and to ensure our couples have peace of mind.

Q: How long will it take to receive my final video product?
A: This is a great question and one that every couple needs to ask. Our turn around time is 12-14 weeks after the day of the ceremony. While this may seem to be a long time, our production team needs this period of time to produce high quality edited products. We go through hours and hours of video to capture just the right images to include on your highlight film. Be very careful of those that promise quick and fast delivery of wedding videos. These can often be rushed and sloppy and ultimately disappointing. Professional editing takes care and precision with attention to detail in order to produce first-rate results. 

Q: Are your packages customizable?
A: ALL my packages are customized to every wedding. The goal is to give you exactly what you need and want, so each package can be adjusted to include additional hours and/or more edited videos until it is the best fit for your day. And if you aren't quite sure what you want, I'll ask you questions so we can figure it out!

Q: What does full wedding coverage typically include? And with what edited videos?
A: My most popular package includes 8 hours of coverage, 2 videographers and a 5-6 minute edited highlight video. This typically allows for getting ready details and shots of both of you getting dressed, all the way until dancing at the end of the night. All packages include a shareable link to your video.

Q: How does payment work?
A: I get that you’re juggling a lot of contracts and payments, so let’s keep it simple! A retainer is due at signing and the remaining balance is due one week prior to your wedding date. Boom, easy. I’ll also remind you so don't  worry :D

Q: Do you do destination weddings?
A: Heck yes! I do everything possible to keep it cost effective for you, too! Reach out so we can discuss possibilities and go over your vision!
