It should be one of the locations at the top of your list if you’re looking for breathtaking views of Chicago. It’s one of our favorite spots for a proposal in all of the city!
Trump Tower and Terrace 16 is a hotel rooftop and restaurant located in the heart of downtown Chicago with one of the best views in the city. Some even argue it’s the BEST view! The location is perfect for proposing or getting married as it is surrounded by some of the best attractions in Chicago.
GETTING TO TRUMP TOWER AND TERRACE 16
Trump Tower’s Terrace 16 Chicago is located off of Kinzie St and N Wabash Ave, right near the Chicago Riverwalk. You can type in “Trump Hotel Chicago” in your phone to get GPS directions to the hotel where Terrace 16 will be located inside.
Parking can be pretty difficult in this area of downtown Chicago, so it’s important to book a parking spot ahead of time with the SpotHero app. This is usually the cheapest and easiest option and will help you out big time!
GET PROPOSED AT TRUMP TOWER’S TERRACE 16
Terrace 16 at Trump Hotel requires a reservation to reserve the rooftop if you are actually proposing there.

You may reserve the rooftop at Terrace 16 for your proposal or wedding. It is located on the 16th floor of Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago.
Couples use the hotel’s elevator to reach the rooftop on the 16th floor. Terrace 16 offers fresh options for a variety of tastes and their expert culinary team can accommodate any dietary needs. They also have an extensive craft cocktail program and thoughtful wine list to enhance the experience.
They ask that all guests comply with their business and chic casual dress code.
